Shai-Karr -Modern Thai street food from Thaicoon & Sushi Bar of Marietta Square. Another twist between century old tradition, seasonal ingredients, and playful skill of our chef. We re-do your familiar dishes with more complex flavors in a classical way. Of course, we will offer several dishes that are rare to find outside of Thailand. Shai-Karr in Thai means the part of the roof extending from the building to protect it from the sun and the rain. Normally in old style houses they have kitchen attached under the roof. Housewives cooking while watching the kids play on the playground, neighbors come sit and talk and help cook the food and sometime join the dinner together. So Shai-Karr to us means home style cooking with our heritage recipes. We hope you enjoy our food that is made with love and sincerity. Welcome and please enjoy.
